LR – Light Rigid Truck Course

MR – Medium Rigid Truck Course
Medium Rigid vehicles are trucks that have two axles and a Gross Vehicle Mass (GVM) over 8 tonnes with two axles, this class of licence is popular with delivery vehicles, small tip trucks or other medium sized commercial vehicle.
HR – Heavy Rigid Truck Course
Heavy Rigid vehicles are trucks that has three or more axles and a Gross Vehicle Mass (GVM) over 8 tonnes. These vehicles, can be Buses, heavy rigid tray trucks, heavy tip trucks and Semi-Trailer “Prime Movers (when without trailer).
HC – Heavy Combination Truck Course
Heavy Combination vehicles are prime movers with three or more axles and towing a two axle trailer with a Gross Vehicle Mass (GVM) over 9 tonnes, or any three axle rigid vehicle towing a two axle trailer with GVM of more than 9 tonnes.
